943: Cutting the Cord: and Converting Your Landline
July 10-11
9:45 AM -
11:15 AM

Broadcast TV and cable TV have traditionally provided in-home media to US households. We are experiencing a new paradigm in home entertainment where households are discontinuing their cable TV contracts in favor of streaming options where content is delivered by companies such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube TV, using streaming devices such as Roku, Firesticks, Apple TV, and Chromecast. Many households still pay for a traditional landline. We will examine converting the landline to a VOIP phone which can save you money every month
