Course Details

This course will explore the sensational “Who Killed Robert Wone?” homicide case in DC through the lens of the key actors in the trial. A separate class will be devoted to: the detective who investigated the case, former Detective Brian Waid; the lead prosecutor at the trial, former Assistant US Attorney Glenn Kirschner; one of the defense attorneys, David Schertler; and a trial judge in the case, Judge Frederick H. Weisberg; bloggers of “Who Killed Robert Wone?” Craig Brownstein and David Speer; Judge Russell F. Canan will lead the discussion. There is no required reading, though it is highly recommended class members watch the documentary, Who Killed Robert Wone? available on Peacock and Apple TV+. This study group has a high class size capacity.
