This workshop will address the joys and challenges of teaching in general, and at OLLI, in particular, for both online and in-person SGLs.

- Classroom management
- Suggested solutions to problematic scenarios
- Organizing your course
- Creating a syllabus/schedule
- Preparing for the first class session
- Best practices specifically for online teaching
The last 30 minutes of the workshop will be reserved for Q&A with Jesse Williams for more technical questions related to Zoom (breakout rooms, presenter view vs. what the class sees when sharing screen for PowerPoint, etc.)
Registration is required. All registrants will be sent the Zoom link the morning of the workshop for those planning to attend online.
