This class will explore the approach that the United States has taken to support the education and care of children. It will examine the history and politics of federal, state, and local early learning, child care, and after school programs, the relationship between the needs of young children and their working mothers, and the challenges facing the early childhood workforce. THIS IN-PERSON COURSE IS BEING RECORDED FOR JULY SHORTS REGISTRANTS.
