981: Qigong for Resilience & Vitality

July 8, 10, and 12

Online

Qigong is a practice of lifeforce energy skills. Based on the same model as acupuncture, ie., traditional Chinese medicine, Qigong is a life-supporting approach from ancient China. It involves easy, playful movements, self-massage, sounds, and meditations that improve our overall mental and physical health. Qigong is appropriate and accessible for almost ANY body, that is, it’s powerful without being strenuous and can be adapted for almost anyone. Classes will focus on a Qigong practice that is grounding to the nervous system, increases vitality, and enhances physical and psychological resilience. Note: Before participating in any exercise program, participants should check with their doctors to ensure that there are no contraindications, special considerations, or limitations from a medical standpoint. This course meets from 11:45 AM-12:30 PM. This study group has a high class size capacity.
