The OLLI Book Club

Join the new OLLI book club when it meets on Tuesday, July 10, at 10:00 AM at OLLI to discuss J.D. Vance's Hillbilly Elegy. The New York Times review stated, “Now here comes Mr. Vance, offering a compassionate, discerning sociological analysis of the white underclass that has helped drive the politics of rebellion, particularly the ascent of Donald J. Trump.” The first meeting of the book club will begin with remarks from a panel of folks who are familiar with the population discussed in the book, followed by a discussion with OLLI members.
