9200: Sharpen Your Creative Thinking and Problem Solving Skills

Over three days of short lectures and enjoyable hands-on exercises, this course will put you in touch with your innate creativity while learning new problem-solving and brainstorming skills. Taught in a fun, informal, interactive style, you will practice the art of collaboration and ideation. Topics include the evolution of the creative brain, the creative process, humor, free association, deductive thinking, and more!

Ruth Lozner

Ruth Lozner, has a BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MFA from American University. She is Professor Emerita, University of Maryland, teaching Creative Thinking and Innovative Problem Solving in the Honors College, Smith Business School, and Arts and Humanities College. She is a Fellow of the UK Royal Society of Arts as well as a retired member of the Education Committee of the Cooper-Hewitt Museum.
