For those that have been or never been to Oz. The course will be and eclectic survey of this nation: its climate, animals, people, history, language, sport and politics. We will touch on the wildfires and floods; survival of the Tasmanian devils, the reef, the snakes, spiders and drop bears; the Aboriginals, the Diggers, White Australia, the Italians, Greeks, Chinese and others; Footy, Cricket, Netball, the Rabbitohs and the pokies; the response to COVID, dealing with China, ScoMo and the pollies; the Opera House. Where to travel; what they think of America; and, if the land down under is still “The Lucky Country”. Open a box of Tim Tams, with a long black or even an arvo VB and join in.
