610: Italian Conversation: Five Informal Meetings to Practice Your Ability

This is an opportunity to meet with your fellow Italian-speaking OLLI members for conversation. For each meeting, a short Italian newspaper article or other reading will be assigned and briefly discussed as a class. Students may then gather in smaller groups of as few as two persons and talk on any subject they wish. People with all levels of language ability are encouraged to participate.

Arrigo Mongini spoke Italian as a child and has traveled throughout Italy at least 15 times over 60 years and maintained fluency. He is past president of the Italian Cultural Society of Washington, DC, with two degrees from MIT, and retired as a federal executive in the USDOT.
