70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

On Monday, December 10, OLLI will hold an all-day conference to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The conference will include two panels and a film. The keynote speakers will be Professor Claudio Grossman, Dean Emeritus Dean of the Washington Law School at American University, and Dr. Esther Brimmer, Executive Director and CEO of NAFSA: International Association of Educators. The moderators and panelists of the two morning panels are all OLLI study group leaders, and the film to be shown in the afternoon is The Eleanor Roosevelt Story. Both overview and in-depth resources are available on the Celebration's supporting website at OLLIHumanRights-2018.
